This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) while working in a supportive and engaging environment.
This role is due to start in January, until the end of the academic year. You will be expected to plan and mark.
As a Music Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Full class responsibilities, including planning and marking for Music Teacher lessons.
- Delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Teaching Music across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Managing excellent behaviour in the classroom to promote a positive learning environment.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Collaborating with the wider Secondary School team to enhance the Music department.
Required Skills and Experience as a Music Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Previous experience as a Secondary Teacher delivering Music at KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students in Music.
- Strong behaviour management skills to maintain a productive classroom environment.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting individual pupil progress.
- Ability to work as part of a team within a Secondary School setting.
Working as a Music Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
